MS Office 2000 Service Release 1 (SR-1)

IMPORTANT NOTE: If you have already applied the SR-1 update and have upgraded your PC from Windows NT 4 to Windows 2000, you should apply the Microsoft Office 2000/Windows 2000 Registry Repair Utility, which is called o9regfix.exe and is located on this CD. This utility restores the registry settings for several important files that prevent potential problems within Internet Explorer, such as problems related to hyperlinking and searching capabilities of the browser. 

We are currently working on incorporating this solution into the Office 2000 SR-1 Update and this updated service release will be available in mid-April. Please return to this location for more information.  

TechNet subscribers who upgraded from Windows NT to Windows 2000 should be aware that the updated service release was not be released in time for us to include it in the May release of TechNet.
